I have had a few personal issues lately and needed to be calm and wanted more love and peace in our world. So I have been looking around my studio and wow what a load of stuff I have accumulated over the years. my work as an artist has been concerned with stuff and the amount of stuff we have. I had been delivering recycling workshops for over 15years with themes “our environment” and “plastics”. I have been lucky with the amount of stuff I have been gifted over the years. But hadn’t noticed how it had accumulated there is loads.
Now I have given up on my community involvement- I need to use it or loss it. So I back to making – using what is around me. Working out what to do with the materials I have rather than buying in materials for the work. Making use of the discarded and Strangely I have loads of bling.
